I’m more than a little excited to announce this. My best friend – Lander Crook – and I have decided to launch a new podcast, dubbed “Spencer Durrant: Unhooked.” The show aims to have the tough conversations about the outdoors that we need to have – like water conservation versus development, fire and forest management, hero shots, and anything else that’ll ruffle feathers.

But the show will be fun, too. We’re interviewing guests from all corners of the outdoors world. In the first few episodes, you’ll hear from folks like acclaimed artists Ad Maddox and Bob White, to fly fishing experts like Tom Rosenbauer of Orvis, and Domenick Swentosky of Troutbitten.

As of right now, the show will be released on a bi-weekly basis. Hopefully, we can up that to weekly, but I don’t want to over-promise and under-deliver.

The first episode of the show is available on the new Podcast page here on SDO. You can also listen to it below.

In the next few weeks, the show should be available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Google Podcasts, and anywhere else you get your shows.
